Dear OHS Class of 1970 Classmates, we have decided to modify our plans on getting together this year. I'm sure many of you have been hearing the latest CDC updates on COVID-19 and variant cases still being an issue, and even though restaurants and various facilities have reopened, there are many who still have concerns and are therefore being cautious regarding public get togethers. This along with various other circumstances, have caused us so far, to have a much lower than anticipated response rate to our previously posted Class Reunion RSVP notifications on Facebook and from the email blast from our class website.
There was also consensus that the low response rate coupled with the fact that our next regularly scheduled reunion is in 2025, it would be best to cancel this year's reunion dinner but to still have a reunion get together/icebreaker for those who would still like to come.
Therefore, the reunion modification is as follows:
The July 14th golf outing and icebreaker at Oceanside Municipal Golf Course, and the July 16th reunion dinner at the El Camino Country Club have been cancelled.
The new reunion get together/icebreaker location will be at: The Oceanside Broiler Restaurant, 1325 N Harbor Dr N, Oceanside, CA 92054 on the same date of July 14th, starting at: 4:00 pm.
